Sherwood “Woody” Belangia, CEO of ATC Development, has 25+ years of experience working in the apartment industry, both on the construction and management side. He has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and an M.A... Sherwood “Woody” Belangia, CEO of ATC Development, has 25+ years of experience working in the apartment industry, both on the construction and management side. He has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and an M.A. in Liberal Arts from St John’s College. Licensed as a general contractor in three states, Woody has overseen construction of 20 successful apartment complexes in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Under the ATC trademark, Woody has ownership/management of over 1900 units with many more projected in the next several years. He is a formal Naval Aviator, having piloted the P-3C Orion aircraft during the first Gulf War. He taught for 12 years at Augusta University as an Adjunct Professor in Philosophy and has several published papers in philosophy & theology. He serves as Treasurer of the Colloquium on Violence and Religion, an international academic organization, and is co-founder of the Georgia Ancient Philosophy Seminar. Woody is a founding member of the Augusta Vistage CEO peer group. He is a long-time member and Elder at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. He is married to Grace, his wife of 25+ years, and has two grown children, Chloe and Lucas.

She is also an active member of the Apartment Association of Greater Augusta and has served on the Board of Directors in several different positions. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, listening to music and gardening.

Originally from Seattle but calls Georgia her home. She is the Director of Executive Affairs of ATC Development with twenty years of experience in business administration. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Augusta University and pursing her MBA with the Hull College of Business, along with PACE and CWCA certificates in the field of Administration Professionals. She has a blog, Aspiring Admins, where she shares helpful tips and resources within the Administrative niche. She and her husband have a daughter, two sons, and a corgi dog. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and furthering her interests in the field of business.
